Did You Hear That Sound???

This week our spelling/phonics skill is Silent Consonants.  I am soooo excited because I made my first CUTE game to go along with our words!!! :)  I hope my kiddos love it and I hope some of you other amazing teachers find it useful as well!!  Click on the Frog to view the game!


My sweeties have been pretty good so far this week.  Of course...a little bribe does go a LONG way!!  Since we have SPRING BREAK (YAY!!) in 2 weeks, I decided to have a FuN FrIdAy the last day before a much needed vacation!!  My sweeties are trying to earn a letter a day in order to get their extra recess/snacks.  (I told them I'd give them a free letter each week!)  I hope they keep up the good behavior!

    Thanks Heidi!! I'm sure Cole will have no problem with it :) By the way...I LOVE looking at all your GREAT ideas!! I am one of only 2 second grade teachers at my school (which is SO different from teaching in SCS), so I'm always looking for ideas on other teachers' sites that I can either borrow or tweak for my class. Thanks for being such an inspiration :D
